Harm Reduction

Naloxone is a life saving medication that can be used to reverse an Opioid overdose.

Grand River Community Health Centre has Naloxone available at our Outreach Station during designated hours. There are several locations around Brantford where you can pick up a Naloxone Kit and receive training to use it if you are not able to attend GRCHC (https://bchu.org/public-health-topic/harm-reduction-and-substance-use/harm-reduction-supply-sites/). 

GRCHC offers harm reduction supplies (including inhalation and injections supplies) at our Outreach Station during designated hours. Used supplies cannot be dropped off to GRCHC, but can be disposed of at any of the yellow disposal bins around the community (https://bchu.org/public-health-topic/harm-reduction-and-substance-use/harm-reduction-supply-sites/).
